We are currently accepting applications/hiring for a Weekend Animal Care/Doggie Daycare Attendant (Posted 7/15/09)
Starting
pay is $7.25/hour (generally raise after 90days based on
attendance/performance), hours are Saturday 9am-6pm and Sundays
7am-12pm and 4pm-6pm *sunday hours may be adjustable if needed for attending worship services
The
job entails, lots of cleaning, being on feet for an extended period of
time, entertaining/supervising 5-20 dogs at a time in our doggie
daycare, sweeping, mopping, picking up poop, pee, vomit (on occassion),
washing walls, washing windows, cleaning cats and hospital areas and
more. This is a VERY laborious and demanding job. NOT
playing with cute puppies/kittens all day, you may get scratched, bit,
peed on, pooped on, and deal with barking dogs on a daily basis.
Interested
Applicants should love to work with animals (dogs & cats), work
well as a member of a team, be conscientious, able to pay attention to
detail, able to follow written instructions, willing to take the
intitiative. Experience is a plus but we will train.
